Sweets for My Sweets

So I am sure you are probably completely fed up of looking at lots of christmas cards.... but here is another one :)

This card is based on one of the Sketches on the Hero Arts blog for their December Challenge
I've actually created a card for all three of the sketches as I admired them that much! But the other two will come later ;)

The card was created using the Hero Arts Holiday Jumble digikit
It has so many fun elements, it's been my go to set to use this Christmas... especially the yummy background!!

The sentiment was generated in word using Scrapgirls font!

Nice and simple, but that's just how I like it :)

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Paper Pretties : Red, White and one other colour ... (Black)
The Crazy Challenge: Christmas!
Dream Valley: Christmas (Hello lovely Dream Valley ladies)
Crafty Cardmakers: Use It 3 times.

Merry Christmas to everyone! Have a Happy and Healthy time

Lots of Love

More Christmas

Evening everyone!

Hope you are having a good weekend!
I have another card based on the ColourQ palette.

As hard as I found it, I enjoyed the challenge!
Here is my creation..

This festive creation is created entirely from Pink Petticoat goodies!
The gorgeous background paper is the vintage stars which can be found here

These gorgeous trees are a new collection from Pink Petticoat for the christmas called Tree-os

You get 3 tree's. 3 presents. 3 stockings. 3 baubles! Awww cute!

These were coloured with my promarkers and adorned with pink gems! Oh so many pink gems!
you can see them glittering away in this picture below!

So that's it from me, i think i've exhausted this colour palette hahaha!

Until next time, take care.

Love

Turtley Christmas

Hello everyone,

Yes, I am here for my second post! Shock horror :)
I am using the colour palette from the great ColourQ Challenge for this card....

Gorgeous yes! I thought I would find this easy.... but actually found it quite hard!!
But here is my creation..

Turtley Christmas! This is for my Sister-in-law and her new hubby! They have 2 tortoises, Esio and Trot! So I always try to incorporate tortoises into their cards!

These cuties are an amalgamation of 2 different Doodle Pantry sets!

The first is these cute turtles
The second is the awesome Santa accessories! It fits most Doodle Pantry characters, different hats and presents!

Which is teamed nicely with one of the beautiful sentiments from Pink Petticoat

As you can see I added plenty of glamour dust bling to those presents!

Annoyingly when colouring the presents I accidentally picked up the purple pen instead of the pink and no matter how many times I went over it it was still purple! Sorry ColourQ, hope you can forgive me <3 <3

On the inside is a picture of one of the presents and the sentiment 'And a Happy New Year' also from Pink Petticoat.

Well that's it for tonight.
Hope you are all okay!

Lots of Love

My Goodness... It's a Card

Hello Hello Hello!

I have a card! I know! Shock Horror!
Someone from work asked me to make a couple of birthday cards (They will be showcased later) but whilst doing those cards I got a bit of inspiration and made a couple of Christmas Cards!!

This is one of them :)

I was blog hopping looking for inspiration and then started looking at some of my favourite stores and came accross some digital goodies from Hero Arts!

This card has bits and pieces from lots of different places!
I started by using this kit from 2Peas and took the background, which you can't see in the picture above... maybe this one will help!

It's quite a subtle colour, I changed the red and the transparency so it didn't come through too strong!

I then found these cute Gingerbread men as part of another Hero Arts digital set!

I printed 4 and then varnished them! I have some glossy accents on order too mwahahahha!

Once the ginger's had dried I then Used some bakers twine hanging randomly across the card and then stuck the little ginger's down with glue dots!

I tied some red ribbon from my stash around the top!
The lovely sentiment is taken from a fantastic set from Pink Petticoat which comes free when you purchase the beautiful papers!

I also did a little inside print too!

The Santa Claus is from the earlier set I posted and the Fa La La La La is from PinkPetticoat :)

I hope you enjoy!
It's nice to be back....
